 Concerned citizen blog Dear Editor, I have just read your newspaper, but I was horrified by the article about how America plans to take over all of North America one day. Is this true? I am a worried Canadian citizen, and I would like to tell you that we are doing fine as on our own. We do not want to become a part of the United States and we will have a war if you do try to claim our land and people for you. We will continue to trade with you, so you will not need to attack us to try to get our natural resources for yourself. We can protect each other from separate countries, but we will refuse to become a part of the United States. We are reaching the point where the other colonies and us, are planning to confederate, so if you attack us, you will not succeed because we will be stronger and bigger than we were before. We will be able to take advantage of our many waterways and forests, which will give us a great advantage over you. I am just warning you that trying to take over the British North American colonies, it will end badly for you. Sincerely, Nicole
