ME TO WE DAY!
On, October 17th, over 8000 young Canadians gathered in the Rico Centre, to hear about the things that are going around the world. On that day, we heard about famine, wars and other terrible things that are happening in other countries. The people who had witnessed it, or have been in that situation came on that day to talk about their experiences. Some artists came to express their feelings about it by singing or dancing. We heard about all those things, and I was touched. Despite the sad things that we heard about, we still had fun. The people on stage had made sure that we understood their point, but they also made sure that we had fun on that day. I had a great time there, except I got worried about making up for science class (Wonder how that'll turn out on Monday ). While I was there, listening to all those people, I had a sudden urge to help those people out there. It was especially frightning to hear about the kids my age, who are already acting out the parent part for their younger siblings because their parents are dead. I don't think I am ready for that, yet those kids go through that everyday. On that day, I realized that I should appreciate everything that I get, even the little things, because not everyone is getting that. On that day, I realized the things that I get right now are privileges, not rights. That day made me very thankful about the things that I have. Anyways, it turned out to be a great trip, and I thank Ms. G for that.

About the Blogger
I am Sangeun, and I enjoy doing a whole bunch of stuff. I do some sports outside of school, which are swimming, snowboarding, and skiing. I enjoy all three, and I hope to continue doing it. Aside from that, I love reading. I mostly read fiction books(I find them more interesting), and that is pretty much about it. Have fun looking at my blog!
