What Kind of Society Would I Want to Live in?
If I were to choose what kind of society I would live in, I would choose capitalism. The reason I support capitalism is because almost all of the time in a capitalist society, people are given the opportunity to succeed or in turn fail. Unlike social communism, where people are given what they need from the government, with capitalism you have to work to obtain what you need. To some extent everyone is given the chance to thrive and succeed. In capitalism people are worth how hard they work, if you slack off and take short cuts you are probably going to find that you will go nowhere, but if you study hard and work, you are most likely to be rewarded in turn. I also want to live in capitalism because it teaches people lessons such as you don’t get far in life without work and that you are not always going to get what you want. Lastly, the reason why I want to live in capitalism is because it is what I live in today and I have a very good and happy life.
