 Favorite Book
My favorite book is The Worst/Best Halloween Ever. The book is about 6 Herdman kids that steal candy, vandalize other kids and snatch almost everything that isn’t nailed down. Then the Mayor cancels Halloween. That did mean no Herdman trouble but that also meant no costumes, no candy, and no trick-or-treating! Is it possible that the Herdman’s could make the Halloween from the worst to the best Halloween ever? What I like about the book is that it’s about Halloween candy and how even the people that you would least expect to make things better that it could happen. Not all people are mean forever. I also like that Charlie has his own opinion how to make the mayor change his mind but nobody expected the Herdman’s to be the ones. I think the book is funny because when Charlie thinks that the worst possible thing that can happen is Halloween being canceled he is proved wrong when he hears the morning announcements at school.
