 Barbara Parks Barbara Park is one of today's funniest, most popular authors. The first book she wrote was Operation: Dump the Chump. Barbara Park graduated from the University of Alabama. She got a degree in teaching. Later, a Random House asked Barbara to write four books in a brand new series for early readers. Barbara was a very funny talented writer.
