Barbara Parks
Barbara Park is one of today's funniest, most popular authors. The first book she wrote was Operation: Dump the Chump. Barbara Park graduated from the University of Alabama. She got a degree in teaching. Later, a Random House asked Barbara to write four books in a brand new series for early readers. Barbara was a very funny talented writer. I have read many of her books and LOVED them. I totally recommend you to read them!!

I’m doing my biography on Dorothea Lang’e. Dorothea was born in Hoboken, New Jersey. Dorothea started her career in New York, and then went to Sanfrancisco where she opened a portrait store in 1918. With the Great Depression going on she turned her camera from the studio to the streets. Dorothea was educated in photography in a class taught by Clarence H. White. In 1920 she married Maynard Dixon and had two sons: Daniel born in 1925, and John born in 1928. In 1935, she divorced Dixon and married Paul Schuster Taylor. After many successful years Dorothea Lang’e died on October 11, 1965. I loved learning about Dorothea Lang’e, and I hope to learn more about her in the future.

My weekly blog is going to be on my first day. My first day of school was awesome! It was so awesome because I got to see all my friends and teachers. The not so good thing is we at least 6/7 assignments. But, Mr. Rodgers is still a really good teacher. That's really it on the first day. Bye~!@
