This week I have to go to soccer practice. Then I might have a friend over. On Sunday I have a game against a team in my county. I hope we win. So that will be my weekend.

9/11 was a very sad day. Four planes took off not to take people where they wanted to go, but to hit the twin towers, Pentagon, and to try to hit the White House. A lot of innocent people died that day including firemen who went in to the building to save people. That is why it was a very sad day.

This week I went to my soccer game against Shawnee. We won 7-5. Then I had to go to my great cousin's wedding. I danced too long and got a blister on my foot. The somebody spilled water so I slipped on it. So that was my weekend. Thanks for reading my blog.

I did Bill Gates for my biography because he was an important factor in making the internet which we use all the time.

Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955. He was born as William Henry Gates the 3rd. His father was William Henry Gates Jr.. He worked as a lawyer. His mom, Mary Gates, worked as a school teacher and chairperson of United Way. He was the only boy out of three kids.
In 1968, Bill got accepted to Lakeside in Seattle. That year he learned about computers. Computers were new so they cost a lot of money. They took up a whole room! His school raised up enough money to get a computer. Bill and his friend Paul loved computers. Paul liked to work with operating systems and Bill liked creating computer programs. Bill was enrolled to Harvard. But Bill wanted to get involved with Microsoft so he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bill helped make IBM’s PC. When Bill created a program called Windows it sold 1 million copies a month. When Bill was a billionaire he gave 95% of his money away to the William H. Gates Foundation. Bill married Melinda French on January 1, 1944 in Hawaii. He has 3 kids and now lives on Lake Washington across from Seattle.

He is important to me because he helped improve technology, made it possible to do all kinds of things. Thank you for reading my biography of Bill Gates.

My first week of school was pretty good. I loved when we swam in the pool because we tried throw a beach ball to the people who jumping off the diving board. I also loved the big slide. It was fun when Kami, Malia, and me were against the boys in basketball. I can not wait till we get our palms. So that was my first week of school.
