Fighting should be banned in hockey.
Your next blogging assignment is to decide whether you agree or disagree with my statement. You must explain why you agree or disagree with my statement. Take time to research facts, data or statistics to back up your argument.
I will give you class time next week to complete this blog. Feel free to start researching your position this weekend.

2009! I can't believe it! It seems like such a short time ago, but I can clearly remember coming into the year 2000! Many of you were little tots and have no recollection of that New Year. They say that time flies when you are having fun, so life must be great! Instead of making a resolution this year (most years I don't make one anyways), I will continue to look for ways that I can make myself a better person. I always get a special sense of joy when I'm able to do something to help someone out. Sometimes when we are busy or tired, it's easy to forget about those little extras. So my goal this year, is to put a little extra effort into doing something special for people around me that I know and even for people I don't know.
As a class, we will be discussing Random Acts of Kindness. Check under assignments for your first task.

The task for each of you this week as part of your blogging is the following:
Write a 26-word story where every word begins with a different letter of the alphabet.
Here is an example:
Xavier Zepp noticed that his quiet, pet alligator died viciously under suspicious circumstances. Everyone knew Mississippi gators were rarely found bobbing lifelessly in yummy orange juice.
Good luck and I look forward to reading your entries. Be sure to proofread before you submit your blogs.

Good Afternoon Students, I was checking out some other classroom blogs and came upon this assignment on the DragonBlog site. Have a look at their blog.
Now it's time for you to post 7 random facts about yourself. Remember to use pseudonyms and keep your identity secret.
