During Banned Books, and in fact, during every day of the year, we should celebrate the freedom to read. Do you think books should ever be burned, be banned, be removed from library shelves? Why not? or why would you agree to ban a book?

In my opinion, it depends on what the book is to be banned. If the book is like the lorax, for example, no this book should definitely not be banned. If the book is Twilight or something else, the book should be under consideration. I read some banned books.

Books should never be banned. If a parent wants a child to not read a book they should just tell that child. They shouldn't prevent all the other children who use the library from reading it. Maybe their parents don't mind.

I don't think books should be banned because people are not letting us read some of the greatest books ever created! Some of the books are banned over silly things! It is alright if parents don't let kids read certain books, but I don't think that people should be allowed to ban books.
