Fourth grade memories

I am excited I'm moving up to fifth grade,but I will miss the things I did in fourth grade like when we did the crayfish. I was scared to pick it up and now I am not scared to pick it up.When we did the experiment with the light bulbs I turned the switch to complete the circuit.When we did field day everyone did great and they got a ribbon. We all did great things before we finished fourth grade and now every thing is done and now we are going into fifth grade. Have a great summer!
P.S. I will miss you Mr.D (I mean it.)

I think we should make a movie about the explorers and show them to the other grades because, they can all see our hard work.My favorite part of the project was when I did research on the explorer. It was fun to find facts about the explorer. I think that the most challenging part of the project was the talking avatar because we had to write and record words that he would say.

The Declaration of Independence is the most famous document in history. If I was sitting with them I would feel honored. I would tell King George we are our own bosses. We wanted to stop paying taxes to the King. I do not want to sign my last name on the document because I do not want to get killed.

If I was an Iroquois man living in New York I would be happy to be alive. We were afraid of the Americans because they were taking our land and pushing us out. I choose the British because they had better army and soldiers. The British had 50,000 soldiers but the French had 3,000 soldiers and the Indians had 2,000.

My favorite video game is LEGO STAR WARS THE COMPLETE SAGA. I like all the action and episodes. I think the book fair was fun. I got the Book of WORLD RECORDS of 2009. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I get a lot of gifts and I go to my grandparents house.

The Indians are good people in this world. The Indians were treated badly by the Europeans. The Europeans brought many diseases to kill the Indians. Many Indians died. I would recommend this to others because it was great to learn about Indian culture. They taught their children a lesson in life. I would want to learn Italian culture because it is were my ancestors are from.

I think the orchestra was great. I like the back round and the way the colors changed.It was cool. I was never in a place like that. My favorite part was when they played the Nut Cracker and the part when the fat hippo came out. I think we should put the video on YouTube. All I would say is the Philharmonic Rocks!

Over the vacation I ate sushi, I played video games,I watched t.v and I built legos, went to New York city and I saw The Pink Panther 2. I liked my vacation because I got to relax and play. My vacation was great!! This blog is named A2 because it was created by A.J. and Anthony.

I think the grades on the report card are important because it shows how you are doing. The teacher grades the students on your tests and your actions. If I was in charge,I would look how they act in class and looking at their test scores. This would help me (the teacher) give out the right grade.

We all depend on electricity every day in many ways. It would be dark with out light. Life with out electricity would mean no video games or t.v. and I would not be able to charge my laptop. If I were an inventor I would see it run on water because water is good for the environment.

Today we learned about how electricity is dangerous to us. A man from LIPA came to show how dangerous it could be. I think the presentation was cool because, he showed us a model of a house and all the things that could happen if you do not know the rules of electric. I would tell the students to be safe by not touching outlets, wires, water and boxes. Be safe!!!

The ELA is a very important test. You have to prepare for it by reading and writing. Every night after I would read, I would write about it. This helped me to write an essay. I also think you have to go to bed early and eat a good breakfast. This will help you concentrate.

I think our class should study the solar system. I think each group should get a planet to study. I think our class should use the Internet, our class wiki and Windows Movie Maker. The planets are cool and they would make a good research project.

Today our class went on a great trip.We learned about the Native American culture. I like the skeleton that was in the hole. I could not believe the way they used the animal skins to make the tents. All fourth grade classes would have a great time on this fun trip. We did!!!

If I made a t-shirt it would be amazing. The color of the shirt would be gray. I picked gray for the shirt because it matches my braces. Gray goes with everything and both boys and girls can wear it. My shirt would say: WEAR THIS SHIRT!

This week is Halloween. I like to go trick or treating with my friends. I like all the candy especially candy corn. My favorite costume is Davy Jones from Pirates of the caribbean. Last year I was Dracula at a Halloween party at Tae Kwon Do. I won first prize for best costume. I still think Davy Jones is scary because he is half man and half sea creature.

If I were in charge of the blog assignment, I would ask the class to name their favorite food. Then ask how many times a week they eat it.
