My First Trip Blog Today my class took a field trip to the Garvies Point Museum and Preserve. My favorite part of the trip was when my class got to sit in a real dugout canoe. I chose this as my favorite part because it was really cool to sit in an actual canoe that the Native Americans used. What surprised me about the Native Americans was that they found a use for all parts of the animals that they killed. I would highly recommend that the next fourth grade class go on this field trip because it was a great experience. I learned a lot that I didn't know before about the Native Americans.
