 Start of the Year Letter Dear Mrs Hyde, I live in a cul de sac. My house is a two bedroom house. I live in a brick house. My dad’s name is Martin and my mum’s name is Angela. I have some pets. I have one dog which is called Sweep and my cat’s name is Tinker. My favourite food is pie, pizza, hotdogs, sausages and sausage rolls. I like going for mountain bike rides, taking my dog for a walk and I like running as well. What I am looking forward to is maths and meeting new friends. From Maisie. We wrote these letters as a writing sample at the start of the year. Mrs Hyde made only enough changes to make this readable. The original will be in my big book.
