 The Scarecrow The oldest child, named James, had to sleep downstairs in a dark closet room because his mum and dad wanted the huge master bedroom. His smaller brother and sister, that were very annoying, wanted the other bedrooms all to themselves. There also was a big playroom that was in the third floor of the new shinny, silver cottage that everybody loved. The next foggy, rainy morning the family goes out for a beautiful drive but for some weird, unusual reason the oldest son, James stays at the beautiful, shinny, silver cottage. Then James goes into the kitchen. Then he heard the home phone ring. He looks over at the phone and wonders if he should get or not. He keeps wondering. James suddenly decides to answer the phone but all that he could hear was breathing. Then they hang up with a big shout. He was worried, terrified, petrified and scared that someone was roaming around the house watching him. Back at the cottage in the big messy kitchen James looks out the old, foggy window and then saw that the scary scarecrow had disappeared and then thought what was watching him. It was the scary scarecrow, he knew it and stood frozen. James was getting even more scared. Then James turned on the TV but it doesn’t work, he stops and stares then he hears a knock on the door. He looks out the cold, foggy window but there was no-one to be seen. James tries to ring his mum and dad’s mobile. He heard the mobile phone ring in the bedroom. He runs into the bedroom and jumps on the red bed and he sees the scary haunting scarecrow standing watching him in the window. James starts to get even more terrified. The mobile phone suddenly rings again. He goes and gets it. He was not going to get it but still he did. Then all of a sudden he could only hear hysterical laughing!!!.
