Simon and I were studing Hogmany and did a presentasion on Marvin which we can't put on the blog. This is my reflection below.

We have a pole that has a small hole inside so the elephants have to reach inside to get the food.
We also have a short cylinder with a small hole in it so the elephant has to roll it around for the food to come out.
Why? We chose these so the elephants strengthen its trunk muscles more.

Most of the boys got to make popcorn holders shaped like tigers when the gules were at self defence .First we got 2 bits of corrugated cardboard and stapled then together so we had 2 cylinders for the body. Then we made the eyes, ears, nose and the body by drawing around a template. Next we panted the eye, the ear, and the body. Then I drewe around another template for the legs. When they were dry I glued the pupil to the eye the eye to the body and I glued the feet to the body.

Whoosh a dark group of fish swept through the seaweed. A small yellow starfish was clinging for its life to the seabed. In the ocean current was strong. Fish were swimming against the strong current to get away from a weird shadow. A tall heavy rock is slowly moving. The crystal ocean suddenly goes dark as an unknown creature comes into view. MogoMogo is a creature with sharp teeth, small ears and a wide back. He is as fast as a rocket. With his large body he can survive the Antarctica ocean.

My holiday recount (1st attempt with no teacher assistance)
In the holadays I went to Ohopy with kerry and mummy. we had 6 huawis bogyboding. The wavs were awesome. Then we had 2 huawis in the sun. afta the beach we went to Bayfere to get Da a present. Mummy needed to go to Kmate to get a thye thins. I fand a Lego starwars kit. We went home and had quit atfanoon

Holiday recount (reworked with teacher conferencing)
I raced through the trees on my mountain bike. The bike is ddep blue and has a land of bright stripes. It sparkles like the ocean. Mum and I had just got into the forest. My mum is as talle as a car and has long dark hair. The trees looked like they touched the clouds and had millions of cicadas making lots of screeching sounds. Ahead of me some blinding light flashed through the trees. Suddenly muym and I are out of the forest and on the outskrts of Tauranga. Soon we will be nexet to the lake and on our way home. By now the track had got really bumpy. A huge jump cam up. I pedalled as fast as a cheater after its prey. I flew as I hit the jump. As I hit the ground I went flying off my seat and over the handlebars. Thud! I landed on the hard dirt. Just in front of us was the lake. We crossed a very busy highway. Mum and I hopped into the car where She gave me a hokey pokey icecrem.
