Scarecrow
A greek family went on a holiday way out from home in the grassy overgrown countryside in a small two story beautiful and terrific rented house. In the farmers overgrown field there is a big ripped ragged and ugly looking scarecrow. The whole family thinks it is evil. Gutted, annoyed, confused the oldest one, John had to sleep downstairs in the munted worn out living room because Phil wanted the big room and mum and dad wanted the master bedroom. One day the family goes out but John stays home in the lounge watching TV. The phone rings. John turns off the TV and answers the phone. All he can hear is deep, terrifying, horrifying breathing. Suddenly the petrifying breathing stops. It sounded like a monster purring after a wild goose chase. John starts to feel scared, terrified and lonely. John starts to feel if he is being watched. He turns to see the scarecrow wasn’t there. His heart skipped a beat. The languishing scarecrow that was in the field was gone and nowhere to be seen. John hears the TV was back on and went to turn it off. As he opened the door to the lounge the TV turns off. He went to turn it on but then an electric shockwave came from the TV and hit his hand. Blood came out, it looked like a hose spraying water. A knock on the door came his way. John yells “Yay” and ran towards the front door. He opened the door but no-one at all was there. John felt confused and frustrated, he felt like there was no-one in the world but him. It felt like he was having a nightmare, yet he was awake. John tried to ring his mum but she had left it on her bed. John ran upstairs to his mum and dad’s bedroom and looked out the window. He froze. He jumped under their bed and looked out the window. The horrible scarecrow was there starring with googly eyes at him. John screams forever. Suddenly John’s mum’s phone rings. John answers it and all he can hear is happy, hysterical laughing. Just then John starts laughing and realises that his family had pranked him.

below is my reflection.
