The Future Library
The future library…
I picture the library of the future completely electronic. Instead of tens of shelves stocked with hundreds and even thousands of books, the shelves will be stocked with a variety of eReaders. Apple products line the walls. No library workers, no media specialists, well there will be some behind the scenes. Also this library would be unimaginably comfortable: it might even have an outdoor section. I have always heard that nature is calming.
LIBRARY: this word will have a whole new meaning. Matter of fact I have changed the entire word. eTecharary is the new name, meaning a technology/reading/gathering/learning room.
I do believe that this library might exist in the future. Technology is booming-even in media centers. I think that the future holds a lot more things like this, not just in libraries.
