I work with teachers and students in grades 4 to 7. Our focus is on UDL (Universal Designs for Learning) Principles. We try to provide multiple means of representation, expression and engagement for our students. We are located in Northern BC in Canada. My personal goal is to infuse technology into all curricular areas.
Although I no longer have current students linked directly to this page, I still plan on posting assignments from the other classes (and teachers) I work collaboratively with.
Check back often.

We are participating in a gift card exchange. We will be creating our own gift cards and mailing them to classrooms marked on the map. We will also be receiving cards from each classroom as well!
Let's get into the holiday spirit and design some beautiful cards!

I want you to leave a comment on the voicethread below.
You can talk about:
- what we did with the tool/application.
- why you liked using the tool.
- how it made things easier for you.
- if you'd like to use it again.
Please take a moment to write your comments down and then we will record once you have reflected on them.

We learned about Earth Hour last year. How fast time passes because Earth Hour is upon us again. Tomorrow night, turn off the lights, unplug unnecessary items and help the world.
See what our local newspaper said about Earth Hour. Click here.
Today we want you to write/speak a blog entry about what Earth Hour is and how you can contribute to the success of Earth Hour.

If you have students struggling with writing/typing things on the computer try vocaroo.com
This Web 2.0 application is exceptionally easy to use. Students click the record button and start talking. When finished they "grab the code" and paste it directly into their blog.
What a great way for them to tell you their learning . . .
