This is a trial to see if we can still upload stuff. We are going to try to re-establish our blog for 2012 because we have some amazing childrens work worthy of publishing.

Book week was great because some of the mums came to read us stories. We talked about our favourite book characters and dressed up as one on the last day of term.
Look at us!

When the rain pours down, we are lucky enough to get a huge puddle outside our classroom. The puddle is sooooo large we call it Lake Room 23.
There is no good reason to waste a good, big puddle so we decided to bring extra clothes and have a jolly good play in it. It was a bit cold though...
.....
We did have such a lot of fun.

We read a story where the children stay in a lighthouse, climbed 100 stairs to the bedroom where they slept in a hammock!!!
We wondered what it would be like to sleep in a hammock...sooooo... Emilia kindly brought hers along. We ended up with 2 hammocks side by side thanks to Jack. We found out how to get in and out without crashing to the floor. Fun, fun, fun.

We found the thought of having to run a long way then ride a bike and then run some more, quite scary... sooooo... we decided to have a close look at the route we would have to take.
School, Larcy road, Niel Hunt Park, School...not so scary after all But oh what a long way!!!
A plan was needed so we made one and practised it.
1. Run as far as you can then stop and walk.
2. Walk until you can start to talk, then
start to run again.
3. If you get really tired...then...crawl BUT as soon as you can talk and laugh...RUN,RUN,RUN!
Well, we all managed to finish!!! and we did enjoy the ice-block at the end.
Here is what we did before enjoying our ice-block.
