Conditions of Use


Run Bike Run The day dawned beautiful. We could see that it was going to be sunny and probably hot for our Run Bike Run. We all arrived at school, excited, and with our bikes in tow, all decked out. Our class decided our theme colours were green and pink (yeah Whaea Andrea was really impressed!). We all looked great in our different pinks and greens. After morning tea we all assembled for the start. We had to first do the run (basically around our cross country route) then find our bikes and out onto Larcy, Lynmore Ave and down Iles Road (and yes there are one or two hills!) and then off we went on the final run up and down TeNgae Road (on the footpath of course). There was a prize for the best dressed and the person who put in the most effort. Lucy won the best dressed while Cyrus won the best effort. It was a cool day and we all enjoyed the cold ice block at the end of the run.
Whaea Andrea bought her bike and she rode around (several times) following us on the run and bike ride. We reckon next year she should do the run with us!!!

About the Blogger
Hi. My name is Whaea Andrea and have taught Year 4’s for the last 8 years. I have moved to Senior School, teaching Year 5’s. My background is that I was a Flight Instructor / Pilot for some 15 years and had opportunities to fly in the remote areas of Arhem Land, North Australia and in Papua New Guinea.
