Maa, maa, maa, maa.
What a lot of noise they are.
Yesterday at 10 o’clock at Puahue School it was Calf Club Day. It was a challenge for the people who had a calf, lamb and a goat. We have got three groups. Junior, senior and intermediate. First is a red ribbon, second is a blue ribbon and 3rd is green. People were selling muffins for 50 cents. I was helping them. My Mum baked some muffins and a chocolate fudge cake.

Hi, my name is Yasmin Montana. I am 23 years old and I am doing swimming. Jade is doing swimming and Harriet is doing swimming too. We all live in a warm hotel and we have got a pool and three beds. Well I am going to the Olympics.
Wow! This place is big.
“Hi, Harriet and Jade.”
“Hi, Yasmin. What are you doing here?”
“I am doing swimming.”
“We are doing swimming too.”
“Are you? Well I should go and get ready now, okay? Bye.”
“Bye.”
So I went to get ready and I saw Anna Montana.
“What are you doing here?”
“I am doing swimming.”
“Me too.”
Swimming is on now. Get ready … steady … go!
Yasmin and Anna are in the lead. Yasmin has won the gold medal!
Good work Yasmin.

In a dark valley were two girls named Kayla and Annalise. Kayla was 16 and Annalise was 16 too. The girls went to see Harriet and Kate but along the way they spotted Rosa.
“What is the matter Rosa?”
“I can’t go into the dark valley.”
“We’ll come with you.”
“Thank you.”
So the girls went down into the dark valley.

Reset, reset. Mum, my pedometer will not reset, I will walk, now it’s working – good. On July 21st, Room 4 and Room 3 got some pedometers. What’s a pedometer? You ask. A pedometer is a thing that counts your steps. Counts your steps? Cool! I want a pedometer, I want one. I will give you one, I will go and get one for you, OK? Ok. Miss Knight – my pedometer broke! How did it break? I was putting it on and it broke. Well that is a shame. I know. I will call and see if there are some new ones, OK? The 7th of August. Room 3 has done 2026108 steps today. 750km – that’s a lot. We are nearly at Palmerston North.
