Kiwi
A kiwi is a native bird in New Zealand. Kiwis are very unique because they are the only bird that has their nostrils at the tip of the beak. They have no tail at all. Kiwis are endangered species because stoats, rats, dogs and cats eat the babies. Kiwis are flightless birds so they can’t fly. Kiwis eat berries, worms and insects which are their favourite food. They live in burrows 1 to 3 metres long. The father sits on the eggs 65 to 75 days.
