We are senior or former students of Puahue School. Some of us want to keep blogging and some of us have moved on to other places in the world, but our blogs remain a record of our learning at primary school.

pumpkin day Wow! What a lot of pumpkins. I know why there are a lot of pumpkins. Because it’s Pumpkin Day. All the pumpkins were in the hall because Pumpkin Day was in the hall. When the bell rang I went to class. I didn’t want to because I wanted to look at all the decorated pumpkins. After a while we went to the hall again to have a look at more decorated pumpkins. There were heaps. The one I liked the most was Hayden’s pumpkin. It was a hamburger and some chips and sauce. It made me hungry. After that I saw Fyfe’s birthday cake. It made me hungry too.
Then we had prize giving. There were heaps of people got a prize. I didn’t get a prize. Shanelle had the biggest pumpkin. It was 50 kg. It was a giant pumpkin. I wonder how it came in the hall. I didn’t have a giant pumpkin. I had lunch. After lunch we had the pumpkin games. The game I liked the most was overs and unders with Mr Watson. After he told us a story we were done.
