Say Hello To Rico And Sam

We have two garter snakes in our classroom. The little one is named Rico. The big one is named Sam. They like to eat mostly worms and crickets. Snakes slither. When I touched Sam I was scared and threw him on the floor by accident. Snakes have scales. I know that snakes move side to side. They are smooth and they're beautiful. They hiss when they stick out their tongue. Do you know where they hide? They like to hide under the grass and leaves. Sneaks are cold blooded. Some snakes are scary. We didn't get to touch the little snake because that one is too fast.

Our Butterflies Grow Up

When the butterflies first came to our classroom they were caterpillars. The butterflies were skinny,had different colors, and they were soft. The butterflies weren't ugly. I liked their wings because their wings had many different colors. The butterflies were flying. Butterflies eat sweet things. There were 4 butterflies. One butterfly broke his leg. The butterfly was swashed by an orange. The butterflies were in our hands. The butterflies were little. We were running after the butterflies. It was sad when we let the butterflies go. I know that the butterflies are so pretty and soft. It was sad when the butterfly broke his leg with an orange. Butterflies are so soft. Did you know that butterflies get scared sometimes. The butterflies were so sad to leave us.

I learned a lot about insects. I learned that insects have 6 legs and moths have 8 legs. Insects have 3 body parts. Do you like to learn about insects. Some insects have wings. I know that insects have 2 antennae. Some insects have simple eyes. I know that some insects lay eggs. Some insects have compound eyes. Insects have an exoskeleton. Some arachnids are: scorpions, spiders, daddy long legs, tarantulas. I know most spiders have 8 eyes. I know that they inject venom in their prey. I know they drink their food. They have spinnerets on back of their abdomen. I know some spin silk for webs. I know spiders have 2 fangs. Spiders have a jaw.

Dissecting A Fish

On Monday we dissected a real fish and a digital fish. To cut the fish we used a scalple. When Mrs. Santiago took out the fish it was big and fat. Do you think it smelt bad or do you think it smelt good? It smelt bad, but we didn't eat it. The fish was a little frozen. It was cold and disgusting. We were touching the organs of the fish, and that part was nasty. We took out the eggs of the fish. It was nasty when Mrs.Santiago showed us the intestines of the fish. We also dissected a salmon on the computer. Mrs. Kabat was laughing when she touched the fish. My friend Alexis was taking out the eggs. The fish's name was Salmon. It was fun touching the fish. Mrs.Henriquez Santiago opened the window to let the smelly air out.

My favorite food is turkey, pizza, and pancakes. At breakfast I eat cereal, and pancakes. What do you like to eat? At home I eat pizza, cookies, and ice cream. My mom likes to eat turkey because it is good for you. Do you like to eat turkey? Everyone likes to eat pizza.

The special lady in my life is my mom. My mom is always sweet and nice. When I go home my mom is lovely. My wish is that she will have a beautiful Mother's Day. My mom always takes care of me. I am good and respectful to my mom. I always show respect my mom. My mom is so pretty. I have a good mom. My mom and I play games together. My mom is from El Salvador. I go to the park with my mom. Sometimes I go to Toys R Us. When I am sick my mom takes me to the doctor. My mom doesn't tell me how old is she. My mom speaks only Spanish. When I go to the store mom buys a lot of food. I love my mom a lot. DO you love your mom? I made a flower for my mom. My mom is nice to me.

Some Dinosaurs have four legs. There are two other dinosaurs that were bugger and meaner. Some dinosaurs are big. Tyrannosaurus Rex is no longer the the king! There are dinosaurs who had babies. There were so many dinosaurs. I saw a dinosaur who was fighting for an egg. Some dinosaurs were mean. One dinosaur had babies but they came out from an egg. There are other dinosaurs that ate plants. Some had horns on their head.

If I could go to Europe I would go to Germany to see the castles. I would like to backpack through Europe because I could get there by train. Europe has 46 countries. Paris is the capital of France. In France people speak in French.

If I had 100 dollars I would save my money. If I had 100 dollars I would not spend my money because it's one-hundred dollars. If I spend my money I will be poor. I would not spend my money but I will save it in the bank. If I have lot of money I would share my hundred dollars with my friends and the people that I know. May be I'll buy a car or a big shiny computer.
