Groundhog Day Eve!

Article posted February 1, 2010 at 03:00 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 189

Folklore says that if a groundhog emerging from its burrow on February 2nd fails to see its shadow, it will leave the burrow, signifying that winter will soon end. If on the other hand, the groundhog sees its shadow, the groundhog will supposedly retreat into its burrow, and winter will continue for six more weeks.

Hello! I just posted a video of Mrs. Lambert's class in PE with teacher, Mrs. Gehrig.  Students are learning how to keep the soccer ball close to their body while kicking through goals.

Below the video I created a podcast of what is going on in our school this week.  If you have a hard time listening to it in your browser (first circle), you can left click the second circle, and you will be directed to the site that hosts my podcasts.  You can listen to it there.

Have a great week!
