In my family, probably all families, on Mother’s Day it is mother’s pick of what she wants to do that day. Most moms would want to spend the day at home with breakfast in bed, with coffee, sleeping in maybe, but not my mom. She wanted to go to a hospital called Nini in Tripoli and help these sick people. Some had Leukemia or cancer and some had something in their brain.
I know that the 5th grade is learning or was learning about diseases; well, in that hospital they could have had your disease. I even found some people that had my disease and were having fun at that little party we made for them. My mom got everyone a present and we played games and had fun. I was in charge of the game most of you know-- Baby Foot, where we had a competition with all the babies there were. It was very funny because most of them could not see what they were doing and some did not know what they were doing, but that was why I was there.
My brother was in charge of the card games and I was watching most of the time and seeing how bad of a job he was doing. He only knew two games; one was a game called War. I was only 3 and he was 7 when we made that game up but the kids still seemed to like it. My brother also knew many other games that are not appropriate for them, so he chose a known classic--Go Fish; that got their attention a little more.
My mom was in charge of the drinks and food. She offered everyone cake and drinks, but only for the people that were allowed to have such food. When we went back home, my mom felt good inside and told me that this was her favorite Mother’s Day ever.
But when we got home it was dinner in bed with coffee and off to a deep sleep.

To get to the present you have to know this big chunk of information about the Phoenician world. Phoenicians bathe with a wooden basket and fill it up with the salt water from the sea and a little clean water from the river or the stream from where they live,I infer. They like to eat fish, tuna, probably a little meat from hunting, calamari and shrimp, apples and berries. Their money is coins and they have different names accept the pair called Sidon. Their wine is made of grapes and an amphorae is used to store the meat and fish in. I think that wine is their main drink. In Greece, they stomped on grapes and it turned into wine and drank it. I know that because my mom lived in Greece. They also did that in Rome and I am inferring the Phoenicians did too. Well, got to go, see you later and don’t forget to write. Have a safe trip. One question, how did you get there? Well bye, bye now and don’t get hurt.

I have a question for all of you out there. Why do parents always drink coffee? I mean like it's not even good. Trust me, I have tried it before. I don't believe they are that tired. Maybe it's addicting.

If you knew me, I have been to 7 or 8 different schools, not like any of you guys. I get embarrassed in the new school and that's ok. What I hate about going to a new school is that at the end you have to leave friends and that's hard. Well, we can't all have a perfect life. Well, that's a bummer=http://!!!
