Title: Dragon Genetics Student Reviews (04/03/08)
Description: In this assignment, you will be writing a review of the activities of our unit of Dragon Genetics

Goal: Students will understand that gene variants called alleles determine the physical characteristics of animals.

Goal: Students will understand how the process of meiosis and fertilization leads to passing of alleles to offspring.

Activity 3: Dragon Genetics Drawings


Goal: Students will understand how alleles locations (genetic loci) are distributed along the length of chromosomes. Elongated boxes are used to represent chromosomes with lines to represent genetic loci in order to create a genetic map.
