We start school on Monday. Are you ready? Here's a little story I wrote about going back. Perhaps you'd like to write a story, too. If you do, add the link to your blog, just as I have done. Once you sign in, go to Create. Then choose an artist whose illustrations you will use in your story; just add the words!
Storybird - Ready for School to Resume?
One of the things that I really like about Storybird is they have a special sign in for anyone under 13 years old. You may sign up by clicking HERE.

Have you ever heard of Joshua Bell? Ever heard of Free Rice (John Breen)? Ever heard of the Little 500? These things, and more, come from Bloomington, Indiana, my hometown.
My little town needs your help! We're trying to win an orchard. Consider "planting your vote" for Bloomington, Indiana. Click here Communities Take Root, then on Leaders, then cast your vote.
You can vote once a day, everyday, until the end of the contest. I'm hoping Bloomington wins on April 30th.

We have a long vacation coming up. Please consider using some of your time to play Free Rice. I'll start a graph of your contributions, if you let me know. (Just leave a comment, with your Free Rice donations.)

A few years ago, I saw something on a TV program that I liked, and I made a blog posting. Blog posting: May 11, 2008
It was a tense time for us in Beirut, then, but now things are much better, so my 3 words are different than they were before.
Describe your week in three words. You can sing it, you can say it, you can write it, you can draw it. It can be funny or sad or poignant as long as it’s honest.
~~
Today, Friday, my three words are:
- calm
- happy
- eager
I'd love to hear Your 3 Words!

During this 4-Day break, I've been spending some time on the Landmark 2010 Games. Anyone else working on it? All answer sheets, which will be sent out soon, are due on March 19th. I have quite a few landmarks that are almost impossible for me. Would you like to give them a try? Landmark 2010 Primary Clues
I'm having trouble with #19, 23, 26, 27, 32, 34, 41, 43 and 45.
