The fortune teller looked at me
she said I'll make it into history.
I asked her why
She said to wait.
I begged and pleaded
until I failed.
With this attitude she said
I hope you'll make it into the library.
I looked at her with all my might.
She said if I had some patience
she would not fight.
I snatched away her crystal ball
In it I saw what I didn't expect at all.

My dog is very cute
My dog is very fuzzy
My dog is not really a dog
It is actually a puppy.

My dog is just so jumpy
And definitely very lumpy
It will make us all feel clumzy.

My dog is a princess
That's why she's so fancy
I love her from all my heart
No wonder she is so dancy.

The sucking machine
was sucking up stuff
sucking up the things
that belonged to us.
I went to get them back
so I don't get a warning
but when I went outside
it was way past the morning.
So I was afraid when I heard
the car park.
I shivered and screamed and cried
until mom saw me.

I think a good president for Lebanon would be a president that helps make our country better and a president that takes his job seriously. He can add some new rules to our country so it can be an organized country and a better place for people to live in. Ex: Like no one less than fourteen years old is allowed to sit in front or no one is allowed to throw anything outside on the road.

All these jobs and duties need a president that is responsible and patient so he can listen to all our needs and problems and help us solve them wisely.

I think every president should be honest, trustworthy, and ready to accomplish anything any time. Our president should be support our country because he represents it and all of the citizens in Lebanon count on him.

I think every president in the world should have these character traits to be a successful and important president to leed our country in to happiness and peacefulness.

If I had a superpower it would be reading minds so I know what everyone is thinking of. I would know what everyone wants or is going to do so I can help them. It would be very fun to know what people think of every day. For sure I like to read what anyone in the house is hiding from me. It sure sounds fun to be able to read minds.

I am from two lovely parents who love me for who I am.
I am from a generous family that is cheerful, blissful, and joyful to respect everything that happens around it.
I am from a lively country that’s shedding its natural beauty.
I am from a country that has existed and suffered long periods of war.
I am from a believing country that inhales freedom and empathy. From a country where everyone is equal.
I am from a country that believes in democracy.
I am from a school that strongly believes in education and values like trust and honesty.
I am from a wonderful school that puts all its effort to make learning fun.
I am from a school who believes in justice and equality.
I am from kindhearted teachers that put all their effort in teaching students’ character, discipline, respect, and loyalty.
I am from amazing friends that help me when I am in hard situations.
I am from glamorous nature, flowers, and greens that help make our earth better.
I am from crunchy lasagna that tastes so yummy.
I am from the everlasting cedar trees in Lebanon that stay green the whole year.
I am from the pure Mediterranean Sea in Lebanon that is as blue the sky.
I am from the shining earth that is being ruined from global warming.
I am from exciting books that go on and on until the happy ever after.

“This is what I’ve been searching for all my life! I want it!” screamed Natalie with excitement to her father Paulo, who had been promising Natalie that he would buy her a dolphin before she turns ten in two weeks and that was the day. So her father went and paid for the dolphin and then went to the caring center to name the dolphin and buy all the needs. Natalie decided to name the dolphin “Wish” because all her life she wished to have a dolphin like Wish. Then they took off and they told them that Wish would be delivered after 2 weeks, on Natalie’s Birthday, because they had to prepare an aquarium for Wish in Natalie’s room.

Two weeks passed and Natalie turned 10 and the dolphin was still not delivered so Natalie got really worried and told her father to give the company a call asking them where is Wish. Just as Paulo was about to call the company his phone rang and it was the company calling him with bad news saying, “Please don’t tell Natalie this bad news but unfortunately the dolphin died this morning and the other dolphin is too small to be delivered so you would have to wait another two weeks.”
“But you know that Natalie’s birthday is going to be held today and we told everyone that we invited that there is going to be a dolphin in the party and all the activities held include a dolphin.” Paulo replied in a very high voice that made Natalie hear everything he said, so she got extra worried. Then the guy on the phone said, “I’m so sorry but there is nothing we can do about it.” “ Ok bye.” said Paulo madly.

Then Paulo had to call all the people he had invited to Natalie’s birthday telling them that Natalie’s birthday would be postponed until three weeks from now. Natalie started crying because she did not even know what was happening and all of a sudden her party was cancelled. Then her father started explaining to her what had happened, but he didn’t tell her that Wish died, but he forgot that Wish had one fin lighter than the other.

Another two weeks passed and the dolphin was delivered, but Natalie immediately noticed that this was not Wish so she told her father. He had no other choice but to tell her the truth that Wish died. When Natalie heard that awful news she burst into tears and started crying because Wish was the only dolphin she ever wanted to own.

Then two hours passed and Natalie calmed down, then another dolphin came in and he looked exactly like Wish and that was when Natalie noticed that he really is Wish and on the back of his aquarium a note was pinned so Paulo went to open it and it said: This is Wish. We were kidding. He never died; that was only our April Fools joke.

My goals in 2009 are:

Reaching level Z in reading.

Reading at least 1 hour a day.

Publish more writing.

Not to get less than 90 on a test or quiz.

If I was a teacher for just one day I would like to be a math teacher, because it is my favorite subject. I would like to teach grade 1 so I can teach them how to add and subtract. I'll first do lots of activities for my students to insure that learning can also be fun.
I think a good teacher should have lots of patience and enjoy her job because she likes it and wants to do it not because she has to do it.
