For this blog, you will get to tell what it would have been like for you to mine for gold in California during the gold rush. Use your experiences from the gold rush simulation and the fates that have occurred to you and your team in Golden Gulch. State your opinion of what you think it would have been like, and then be sure to give good supporting details to prove your opinion. You also need to include a strong conclusion statement-do not use phrasing like, "These are the reasons . . ."
Use your Miner's Log to examine the fates you have encountered, look at the fates of the other teams, look at the amount of gold you have and how easy or hard it was to get that amount. Use those to create your opinion. Have fun with this and tell the world what you would have thought about mining in the California gold rush.

Go to The Cay page of our class website and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You will find a link that will take you to the first blog assignment of the year. Read the directions on that page, and you will know everything that you need to do for your first blog.
Have fun, be creative with your thoughts and impress the world with your ideas!
