Title: The Phantom Tollbooth Theme (05/16/09)
Description: What an excellent book we have just completed! Milo had so much to learn and what a fun way he got to learn all the lessons he experienced. The question is: what is the theme for this book? Why did Norton Juster write his book and what did he want you, the reader, to learn from this fun-filled book?

You will get to explain what you think the main message is in The Phantom Tollbooth. State your idea, but then have some good reasons as to how that idea was shown. Be sure to give a good, strong conclusion too.

Be creative, find support for your main idea, and conclude your writing with a powerful statement that the reader will remember!
