On June 26, 2009, the US House of Representatives approved a bill to address the threat of Global Warming. (New York Times Article)
This would not have been possible without the changing attitudes of so many, largely due to the hard work of others. One advocate for Earth, the late "King of Pop" - Michael Jackson, did so with his songs. One example is Earth Song.

Your last day was last week; teachers continue to come to school daily. We should be finished this week.
I have added some links to Related Links -- I'll be adding more soon. If you have any games that you think particularly fun (and educational), please let me know.
Hope your summer vacation has been pleasant, so far.

Two pieces of our students' free-time art work was submitted to Eye to Eye, a site for sharing artwork. The comments students have written are very thoughtful. Have a look.

We sure did have fun eating breakfast and then dancing on the roof! It was a wonderful way to start our week of celebrating Lebanon and all the Arabic learning that is going on.
