Well team, the new year is here. It seems like yesterday you entered the door of room 118 in VPS. As I sit at my computer I am thinking of ways that I can be a better learner and ways that I can widen my horizons in this new year.
I would love for you to share your thoughts with me on your own goals for 2009. I will share mine with you and I look forward to reading yours.
Happy New Year
Mrs. A
Mrs. Allen's New Year Resolutions
Every year I do this because I think it is important. Some resolutions (goals) work out and others don't. I don't get upset, I just add those that didn't get worked on to the list again because I feel they are works in progress. Here are my top five resolutions for 2009.
1. Save money, spend wisely
2. Continue to eat healthy and exercise
3. Read more
4. Take dance lessons
5. Always try to keep an open mind
I have more but I don't want to bore you! I hope I have inspired you to think.

Hi Team,
I am very excited about this new addition to our language arts. I want us to learn how to do this so we can be better communicators and learners in life.
Literacy=Communication (reading and writing)
Blogging=Communication (reading and writing)
Blogging=Literacy
I have taken this very important quote from the originator of Blogmeister David R. Warlick. I feel it is important for you to know because it states clearly why I want you to do this. I think it will be a another way for us to read, write, share and learn from each other. Once we understand the guide lines we are to follow we will be official bloggers.
Here's to our blogging success.
Mrs. Allen

My Classes & Students

About the Blogger
I have been an educator for 36 years. I love what I do and never considered teaching a job but a way of life. When I am not teaching children I am teaching adults fitness. Fitness is one of my passions so I have learned to integrate this gift as an educator.
