Week in Finland

My week in Finland was very good. I visited many places and I made new friends .
The best place that we went ,for me, was helsinki because it is a wonderful city . And the worst place that we went to, for me, was the glass factory because inside, it was very hot .

Helsinki is a Wonderful city=http://!!!!
We want to go a lot of places=http://! In the morning we want go to Athenium Art Museum and then we go to have lunch in a park and do a picnic and in the afternoon we go to lakes of finland and in the nigth go to Pornainen

The name of a winter activity I find interesting to do in Helsinki is Motor sports
and a summer activity I would like to do is river rafting.
Jean Sibelius is a popular composer who has a monument in Helsinki
Suomenlinna or Viapori, or Sveaborg, is an inhabited sea fortress built on six islands, today within Helsinki, the capital of Finland. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and popular with both tourists and locals, who enjoy it as a picturesque picnic site.
The name of four other sights are:
Helsinki Ice Park,St Thomas Christmas market,
Bank of Finland Museum,Finnish Museum of Natural History and the Botanical Museum
If I want to go on a tour to see the most interesting places in Helsinki I can go by boat.

If I want to go to Finland by car I have to go through many countries before arriving to Helsinki. These countries are France-Germany-Poland-Belarus and Russia.In Estonia I have to take a ferry between Estonia to Finland.
The quickest way to go to Finland is by plane and the name of the airport of the capital Helsinki is Vantaa.
The Finland flag is blue white and and in the meedle of this flag there is a great cross.
The official currency of Finland is the euro and this country joined to monetary sistem in 2002.
In the southern and eastern part of Finalnd, summer temperature often rises to +20 degrees or more and winter temperatures drops to -20 degrees.
Santapark is the house of Santa claus and is in the Finnish lapland.The name of the most popular medieval town in Finland is Turku where I can know about vikings.It used to be the country capital and features a 750 years old restored 13th century castel witch now serves as a viking museum.
After being part of Sweeden first, and then Russia, Finland won is complete independence in 1917.
Finland is a member of the Europen Union.

Heey
The town festival is a big party, is celbrated in a special week.
In my town came a funfair.It is very good because my friend and I or my family and I go every day
In this party many performances are celebrated:
Teather,concerts,conferences,aids of drawing, Exhibitions,races and more......
I am the second winner of the aid of drawing!!!
Also the traditional spectacles are celebrated:
The dance of the giants (the gigants are a big structure with person form and a man puts itself inside)the "castellers" or humans towers (He it is a group of people who climb one upon another to build a tower, and the very important espectacle: the devils (He is a group of people who With firecrackers and fireworks they make of the streets a fire hell)and more.....
is verey, very exciting..

The dates of the town festival are from 12 to 16 october, and all the people enjoy it very much. The town festival is fantastic because is a big party. This year I went with my friends to the funfair and I went too the "envelat".The "envelat" is a place where several groups play musical and theatre shows.I like very much these days because I meet my friends and we walk through the town. There is one thing called "correfoc", that is very funny because lots of people run under the fire.
The last day of the town festival all the people go near the church to see the great fire castle.

I want to visit Finland because it is a new experience and a diferent culture.
The diferent food, new people, news places and the new friend.It is very exciting!!!
I want to visit the sea the typicals places and monuments and the very important;I want live in the new house, in the new family
but I have some fears because I never fly in airplane=http://!
I have a little problem because I dislike the fish and I hate the salmon.....
I have two hamsters but it is not a problem beause I can put them in the garage.
I have not problems with the pets, but I dislike the big dogs.......but it is not a problem either.....

My project is go to Finland.
I would like to know new friends from Finland and customs from this country. I would like to visit the tipical sites of the town.
In my house I have a little cat called nano and a little budgie called quico too.I don't mind if I have to go in a house where there are animals like dogs cats and so on.

Hi
I’m Marc .I’m fourteen .I live in Caldes de Montbui, near Barcelona.
I’m wake up at seven o’clock. I go to the secondary school by car at 7:50 ,but start the lessons at 8:00. My favourite subject is Catalan the language from Catalonia.
I have brown hair and brown eyes. I’m not very tall but I’m not short either.
My favourite sport is football and my football team is Barcelona.
I like football but, I play roller hockey.
My daily routine is go to school at 8.00 and finished at 5:30 and then do the homework. I go to the training at seven o’clock and finished at 8:30 and then have diner. After dinner I watch my favourite TV program.
I like reading books, listen music, watching TV and too going out with my friends. I dislike drawing and doing theatre.
My family is small I live with my father, my mother and my sister.
I live in house which is not very big but not small either.
Last summer I went to Paris.

Heey!!! My name is Raúl and I am 14 years old. I will be fifteen in 27 of April.
I have black hair. I am shorter than tall.
I like English but it is not my speciality. This summer I went to an English language school. I am very amazed and excited with this trip. I have never flown and I am a bit nervous.
My hobbies are drawing, listening music, doing theatre, going out with my friends, reading books.
I love art and chocolate.
My favourite books are Harry Potter.
