My article is good to have because I like going to my blog and reading the things I’ve already written because it is great to be able to have the opportunity to make something like a book because not everyone can do this. My favorite thing about my blog is when I read it because reading something you made is a really good thing to do. My mom was shocked to see my blog when she came to my class for our teacher’s conference with the parents because she likes all the stories I made and the words I used. My blog made the teacher’s conference turn out really good.

My first story was About Me so my readers could learn about me and my life. I think that me having a blog is like a one in a life time chance because not every kid is able to have a blog. My blog is the most thing I like about our class is that we have a lot of xo’s, laptops, computers that we're able to use for our blogs. The blogs are what we do mostly on the computers. My favorite story is the Halloween story because it’s funny and it was long. My favorite article that would be new is the one I’m writing now. I am very excited to have a blog. My mom signed a permission slip saying that I could continue to have my blog and I could everything I did on the blog and on my computer, my journal, my language, and my spelling.

I’m going to continue to write in my blog in the summer. I can only blog at the library and my god sister. I have to write things about the summer. The summer is really interesting to write about so I should get a lot of comments. I’m looking forward to writing about going to Florida if I go to Florida. I would be happy if I went to Florida again because I can see my friends again. They were hard to be away from because they were a lot of to be around. See you next time in the hot time.

My weekend was great.

I went to my dad’s house on Friday with my little cousins who were only girls, my little brother, and my little sister of course. My dad told me and my sister to go outside to watch them play because none of them were able to watch themselves.

On Saturday I went to my Auntie Shawn’s house to play with my little baby cousin Noah because I missed him. His birthday was May 31, 2008 and I bought him a truck for his first birthday because it was a lot of fun to play on. Noah always scratches me when I come over. On Saturday I also had to feed him because his mom was helping Grandma.

On Sunday I had to go to my cousin’s high school graduations because it was a very important moment. My cousins Portia and Jamill are the ones who graduated from high school. My cousin Andrea is graduating tomorrow because they go to different schools.

What’s on my mind is my Auntie Gina’s birthday because it’s today and I wrote her a few words to explain that I love her lot. She lives in Federal Way so I don’t know if I’ll be able to go to her birthday party, last year we went skating and she fell down when she was getting to the tables because she might have not had control.

My cousin also has her graduation today and I don’t know if I can do both in one day because two of my cousins already graduated and I have to go see another one because I don’t want to go to two peoples graduations and not go to my other cousins graduation.

Field day is what I’m thinking about too because the field day is tomorrow and I have to do something with my friends and I don’t want to forget about because it’s important.

My baseball practice is on Thursday too so this time I actually want to make to my baseball practice because last time the field was too dangerous so we weren’t able to go to it. My mom got a call from my coach saying it’s too muddy to play on.

I’m looking forward to going to Florida again because I had a lot of fun there and I want to go back. Going to Florida was special because that was my first plane trip and I was so excited to sit next to my older brother.

I like going to my Dad’s house to swim every summer but I might not be able to do it this year unless his friend Lauren is able to take my brother’s, sister, and I to go to the pool. My mom has to say if we have permission to go to the pool.

Last summer I went to a lot of places. My Auntie Gina took my sister and I to this pool and this year we could go to the Wild Waves Theme Park. I’ve always had to go to pools first before I went there because I had to learn how to swim in regular water before going to rides to slide on and then fall into the water safely and carefully. My cousin Jayde should come too. My mom doesn’t like swimming but I want to try and make her come to swim this time.

Dear Mr. Malone,
Thank you for Mr. Malone thank you for loaning the xo Tami to us because I had a great time with it. I would like to tell you how we shared it; we shared it by giving everybody a turn with it like for fifteen minutes. We got to experience a lot of things with your wonderful xo. Your xo was the best to me because I usually used that one in class. I’d be crushed to see it gone. Thank you for letting it be with us for some quite a bit of time because you’re the one who made us be able to have four xo’s. I am happy that we even have more than one xo. My favorite thing about it is when the music comes on. I like when I make videos and pictures on the xo. I think the xo is the best kind of computer in the world because it does more things and has an activity were you can click on things and It makes the sound of that.

My mom tells me not to leave stuff around because of the environment. I think that my mom says that because we all have to keep the Earth clean and safe for everyone. I think that for the Earth I think things that I do might not be good for the Earth. My parents both tell me things about the Earth that I should know at my age. My mom was like me when she was younger. She was tough, smart, and a good listener. My mom and dad sometimes don’t do well for the Earth but sometimes they don’t. My mom tries to do the right thing and that’s a good thing to do. My mom has us to take out the garbage and pick up stuff from out in the yard that we all play in. My mom usually has us get out side so we can enjoy the outdoors and the Earth. My dad has us go outside with our little brother so he can play because my dad doesn’t trust people and he don’t want him to get hurt. My family always goes outside and plays sports like basketball to enjoy what we have which is a great outdoors. My family always hangs out together and we start up a few basketball games like parents against children. My mom has us exercise at Alki Beach so we can ride our bikes around the place. We all have to enjoy the Earth sometime and today would be a good day to do it since it is Earth Day today. I’m going to ask my mom if she can go outside with us today because she never does because of the weather. Earth day is today and today is my mom’s birthday too. Makes you think who Mother Nature is. This day is Earth Day

My test was easy because so far it was about reading stories and after that we had to answer questions about the story. My favorite story to read was about the miniature horse teaching its owner how to get around places. The miniature horse has to wear tiny shoes because he was in a grocery store. The word miniature means that it’s small. He needed a miniature horse to help him walk places because the man was blind. The other story about the same miniature horse was about the horse helping his owner who was a woman who was blind also. The horse saved the woman from getting hit by a person a bicycle. The horse has to listen to what its owner says. It says that when the owner said to cross the street while the cars were coming but she didn’t listen to that. I think that the second part of the reading WASL Test had much about the animals helping their blind owners.

Today is the third day of the WASL and we started math today. The hardest part of this test so far is when I had to match up the same angled triangle just like the one someone else did. My favorite part of it was when we had to do the one with the sandwiches because that made me hungry. I am excited because at White Center Heights Elementary School they didn’t have the third graders do the WASL they had to wait until they got into fourth grade. I think that so far out of the reading test and math test, the math was the easiest. My mom is happy to see me do well. My second favorite part was when I got to fill in the bubbles because that was when we had to pick the best choice. My dad wants me to get good grades too. My least favorite part was when they had us look at a problem and see if we could make the equations make more sense.

I think that the second part of the math WASL today was harder than the first part that we did yesterday. I think that my grade is okay right now because I’m not done yet. My grade might not be as great as I think it could be. My mom might be happy with my grade but I get it next year. Why I think that that I’m getting a good grade is because the readings test because I’m really good at reading. In my second grade class at White Center Heights Elementary School and I did really well at my reading test. The reason why it was easy for me is because I passed the limit for the reading test on my first try. I was so excited that when I went home and told my mom and she was so excited too. My mind is on my fourth grade reading test because it’s going to be much harder than third.

Today is the last day of the WASL and I’m excited because I don’t have to do anymore work. I’m also excited because now I know how it feels like to have a WASL. At White Center Heights Elementary School they do it for more than just five days. I also think that I’m excited because I can stop going to sleep early. My mom also had me eat breakfast every morning this week so I did. My sister didn’t eat today. I still think that my sister did well on her WASL. My mom should be proud of us. My big brother started his WASL on Tuesday. He still did more than me because he is in Middle School and they do way more than us. My brother is in a high School and he starts his WASL next weekend. He should have started this weekend so next weekend he wouldn’t have to do it.

My Brother’s Thirteenth Birthday

My brother’s birthday is today and he got $100 dollars from my mom. It’s his first teen age. I’m excited but I can’t go to church today because I’ll be with him for the day. I want to see how excited he’ll be when he opens his card. I am very happy because now we have two people in the house who are teens. I can’t wait until I’m at least two digits next year. I am proud of him because he has to be responsible and act like a gentleman and still be good at school while he starts to grow up. My mom will be happy to know that he’s done well at school and is in honors math. He has been a great brother and I expect to see the same as he grows up. I love him so much. It’s not because he gives me stuff it’s because he gives me love like a brother should to his sister. He also will do anything to know that I’m okay. He is going to be treated like a teen by helping around the house. Helping mom get groceries and exercising like my older brother does sometimes with my mom. I am happy that he’s thirteen because over the years I was talking about him being a teen because he has more responsibilities to do not just at home, everywhere he’s at. He deserves to be a role model for me because I will always look up to him.

My Experiences as a Little Girl

My experiences as a little girl are that you don’t have to worry about any thing because your parents can do and worry about everything. I will not be treated like a little girl forever. My mom says “That sometimes you have to be strong for your self and learn how it is to grow and be a woman.” My dad says that he wants me to always take care of my little brother because I love him and I don’t want to let him get hurt and I don’t want to either. So my parents are right, you can’t act like a baby you have to act like a young lady because I am not a baby. I’ve all ready had my baby days and they are over with now because I am in third grade now. My brothers say that they don’t want me grow up fast and I don’t either but I can’t always be a child forever. I have to grow up like my big brothers are doing right this very moment. I can be a girl for now but I have to learn how to be tough for myself and grow up more. My grandpa and grandma are grown up now and I want to grow old and safe just like them and my mom and dad. My brothers are going to need my help in their lives because Jalon will seventy- four, Juwan will be seventy- two, and Zakeya and I will be sixty- eight. I understand they will need me and I will most definitely need them and my whole entire life and that’s the truth. My parents need me too and I will need them because I am still young to them too. My family is all I need and I’m sure that you need them very much and I’m sure you need your family very much also because everyone does eventually. My family needs me too.

Good Luck and Bad Luck

One day I had bad luck because I was taking a shower. I was using hot water then it turned to cold water.

I had good luck because my dad gave me five bucks and I didn’t ask for it.

My mom went to bed and my brothers were chasing me and I ran into a wall. I hurt myself really bad.

I’d rather have good luck than bad luck. I’d rather have good luck because I’d be really happy with what happened to me.

Both At Once

When I was at my dad’s house I was having bad luck because I was rolling in the grass and got my hair dirty. What made that good luck was because I had so much fun.

I got money from my mom that was good luck but at the same time it was bad luck because something happened to it.

I ‘m trying to say that there are sometimes times and explanations how you have good and bad luck at the same time.

When you have good luck you don’t know how to react but you’d be pretty excited see you next time.

On Saturday night. My weekend was great because a sleepover and saw ATL and Who’s Your Caddy and when we were done watching movies we stayed up for a little while and when I went to bed it was like 3:00am.

On Sunday. We also played volleyball outside and football. The neighbor’s mom was coming out on their porch to see what we were doing to make sure we weren’t picking on her children. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t know what they were saying to each other.

On Friday I was at my dad’s until Saturday because we were waiting to be taken to the bowling alley to play bowling, play some games that have coins needed. Then we had a room there to eat our cake and food and then live so we can start the party at there house.

We also got to go play basketball for just like a minute because it was too dark and some people were scared because there were dogs around and we couldn’t see at night because it was too late to play.

Then my mom came on Sunday and stayed for like and hour played with my family went to my brother’s game and went home to play and do things for a couple of hours and then went to bed.

What’s on my mind is what I’m going to do at science because it might be hard because Ms. Salter asked my mom if she can help us with science today. I think it’s with the big thick strings because she said next time we are going to do something with different shaped strings.

What’s also on my mind is my grandpa because I haven’t seen him in a long time. It has been like three weeks since I’ve seen him starting from February.

My dad is also doing things on the weekends that I don’t know about so that’s what I’m wondering about it.

My mom is also doing things while I’m at school but I’m happy that she can do something together.

I feel great about my report card coming out on Monday because I always get good reports on all my report cards. I’ve never had one saying that I was mean or I wasn’t listening.

My mom looks at them and then we she thinks there good we go to Target and get things that we want because we did good. That’s not why I like report cards the reason is because I get to be excited that I had a good one this year.

What happens with my report cards is my mom always has our dresser in the living room so she puts it there so she can show it to my daddy or to keep for us to compare with the other ones we have when we get older.

My dad sometimes gets me clothes when I have good report cards and I always like to wear them that day we I get them because my mom helps my dad pick something out for us.

I always know that I’m going to get good grades because I take my time and I also get help with everything if I don’t know it.

What’s on my mind is what I’m going to do on the weekends. Also I know what I’m going to bring for show and tell this week. My mom has to say that it’s okay if I can take it from her book that I’ve looked in before last weekend.

Also I am wondering where my grandpa is today and where will he be tomorrow. I haven’t seen him since February. My mom said that he’s doing fine but I still want to see him soon because I miss him very much, we all do.

My dad also is doing something important today that I’m excited for him to do but I can’t say what he’s doing because it’s a family secret.

My dad’s Dad, and, Mom and Sister, and Brothers I haven’t seen in a while and I miss them to but I think my dad doesn’t want me to go because he doesn’t even know where my Auntie Shawn lives because she moved.

I miss my family that I don’t see all the time because I have to be with my mom and sister and brothers because I have to go to school every week day so I can get a education and go to college and get a basketball scholarship.

My weekend plans are to spend time with my dad and my family. I am also trying to do more things with my Auntie Shawn and her baby. I don’t know why I haven’t seen her in a while because I miss her very much and I’d love to see her before I have to go back to school on Monday.

My mom also might have to go to the gym in the morning so my brothers might have to take care of me and Zakeya tomorrow and the day after that.

I haven’t seen my Auntie Regina in a long time and her children so that’s what I want to get a chance to do this weekend and I might call my cousins and old friends that I miss so much they were like that’s what I want in friends, friends that are nice to me, don’t leave me out of things, and people who do yell at me.

My family is sometimes away from me and that’s what I don’t like but I’d rather stay here with some great friends and enjoy what I’ve got which is very great friends.
