Imagine a classroom that never sleeps a project that continues to develop, grow and change even when you are not at school.
Well, it's here and you are the first students EVER to participate in such an adventure!

Welcome to the 4Corner’s Project.
The 4Corners Project is going to bring 3 other schools from around the world into our classroom. Together we are going to create a massive project. You will work on an assignment with students from the other schools that we have been blogging with.
“Umm, how?” I hear you ask.
Well we are all going to create a wikipage together, communicating the learning that we will all be doing together.
I, along with the other teachers, will put you into groups and provide you with an outline of the projects. The rest is up to you and your team mates. I will be here to guide you and provide you with support, but you are going to need to communicate with your team mates from around the world to work out how to put your ideas together.
“So what’s it on?”
The first project will be about you, our school, our community, our city and our country.
Remember that you are the first group of students to work on a collaborative project with students from 3 distinct areas of the world.
Congratulations, you are pioneers!

Sintra is a beautiful town in the district of Lisbon. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site beacuse of it's 19th Romantic architecture.
It has become a tourist attraction with many visitors because of it's short distance to Lisbon.
You have many interesting places and monuments that you can visit: Pena Palace (19th c.) and the Castelo dos Mouros (reconstructed 19th c.) , Monserrate Palace, Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, and the summer residence of the kings of Portugal Sintra National Palace (largely 15th/16th c.), in the town itself. The Sintra Mountain Range, one of the largest parks in the Lisbon area, (Serra de Sintra) is also a major tourist attraction. If you ever come to Portugal these are definitely places to visit.
