Man told to switch off Christmas lights (N)
A man named Vic Moszcyznski this week was asked to tone down the Christmas lights! Neighbors complained that the lights were attracting too much crime in the area and a lot of accidents. Now Mr. Moszcyznski was taken to court, and has a limit of how many lights he can put up. But are Christmas lights really that much of a bother? These two girls had something to say, "I like Christmas lights. They are sparkly, bright and make everyone happy. When I see houses covered in lights, it gets me into the festive spirit." (Kirsty, 11, Hertfordshire)
"I hate Christmas lights. Christmas lights don't make me happy. I think they're an expensive waste of time and have nothing to do with Christmas." (Elizabeth, 12, London)
My thinking is that he has a right to express his feelings for Christmas! Remember the 9th Amendment, Freedom of expression!? He has a right to show his expression! Wow, and that girl, Elizabeth, the lights do have something to do with Christmas! The light in your heart!
