The Murphy Middle School rocked out on a musical tour through American history last Tuesday morning, November 27 at the House of Blues on Lansdowne Street. Presented by the the Blues SchoolHouse Foundation, the band led us along the evolution of the Blues as a truely American musical form rooted in African rythms through to today's slammin' hip hop beats.
What a show! and what a lesson in how artists hold the mirror which reflects who and where we are as a society! Thanks House of Blues!
