Title: Metaphors/Similes (05/08/12)
Description: Use the four sentences from class. Change the two metaphor sentences into sentences containing similes. And then change the two simile sentences to sentence containing a metaphor- the content or meaning of the sentences should not change just the structure and may be an odd word. Please ensure you write the starting sentences and the sentences you change them into (8 sentences written in total)

The cat’s fur was a blanket of warmth.- The cat’s fur was like a blanket of warmth.

Similes to Metaphors
Gwen sings like an expert.- Gwen’s singing was expert like.
Mary was as sweet as pie.- Mary was a sweet pie.

My report

I would give myself an B for maths and a C for literacy.

I would give myslef an B because im good at multiplcation. I am also good at adding fractions and all things about shapes.

I would give myslef a C because im not good at literacy and i personaly hate the subject.

The inside of the car was a refrigerator. Simile version, The inside of the car was like a refrigerator. The lamp was a beacon of sunshine. Simile version, the lamp was like a beacon of sunshine.
