One system is the food chain it is a syt- what? Oh, whats a system? a system is where many small things work togethter to make one big thing. so anyway this is a system because say death stoped sounds good right? Wrong. Then all the decomeposers will have nothing to thus whatever above it on the food chain will die out and continute the dominoe effect untill there is nothing left :(

Revolutionary Taxes

In 1662 King James promised us the Connecticut Charter (Spear, 70). This would have let us make our own laws.
In 1763 King George needed the colonists to pay for its French and Indian War, so they taxed the colonists with extra taxes or ‘acts’ here are some of them.
One, in 1765 the Sugar Act was passed. This was when Parliament (British Government) put tax on all British sugar. This angered the colonists, but they are still far away from rabble because they think it is fair.
Two, in 1765 the Stamp Act was passed. This was when Parliament put tax on paper such as: envelopes, newspaper, and even receipts! One man named James Otis yelled the famous words “No taxation without representation!” (Harcourt, 274) This got the colonists on the brink of unwanted rebellion!
Finally, in 1773 the worst act was passed- the Tea Act! “This new tax law angered the colonists” (January 6.) Back then tea was as important as modern-day parents and coffee! Finally the patriots (but not the loyalists) got so mad (and that was a lot of merchants because no one would buy their tea) preformed what would later be called the Boston Tea Party. They dressed up as Indians (Maestro) and threw the tea into Boston harbor (lucky fishes!)
In 1774 delegates from all 13 colonies met in Philadelphia for the first ever continental congress (Schanzer.)
Finally all this added up to war, in 1775, the first battles were in Lexington and Concord. The war lasted for 10 years and finally ended in 1785.

I am reading a good book, it is called Witch of Blackbird Pond. It is about a 16 year old girl named Kathrin (or Kit)Tyler. She moves from Barbados (kind of like the carribin)to America in the late 1600s. She meets a women named Hannah and what she did not know is that the town thinks Hannah is a witch! But now the town thinks SHE is a wich to, because she can swim, she is not a cristian, and because she hangs out with Hannah! Will she really HANG out with her? Read to find out! READ IT!! I just got back from Mtn school and man it was SO fun, think of your fav. video game, book anything it x10 more fun than that! Did you know that if your teeth are dry and it is dark out, if they are spearmint you can bit lifesavers and they will spark!?!?

Balto was a Siberian husky, and in 1925 he led his team on the Iditarod to Nome. In 1925 doctors also discovered a disese called diphtheria, and the cure was over 16,000km, so they had to send more than 20 musters, but Balto’s team got it back. After that he was idolized and they made a statue of him (see above.)

Today is Saturday March 1, 2008 and the Iditarod has begun! What is the Iditarod, you ask? Well, its motto is ‘the last great race’ and, it’s a dog race. It takes Place from Anchorage to Nome Alaska!

First I split 273 up into 200,70,and 3. Next I subtracted 200 from 287, that made 87. After that I subtracted 70 from 87, and that made 17. Finnaly I subtracted 3 from 17 and that means the last number was...14!

A pendilom is a string with a wheight on the end that swings back and forth. prof.mcG's class made some and set a timer for 15 sec. and counted how manny times it went back and forth 'it was 12'
