 Revolutionary war Q's! 1. Why did British Parliament decide to tax the colonists living in America? Because they had to pay the British troops who fought in the Frencha and Indian War!! 2. Why did the colonists decide not to pay the taxes? Because the colonists didn't think it was there war to pay for!! (I also think they thought the taxes were too high in price!!).
