In this chapter, Leslie talks about how she made up with Katie, and how her mother fell for Jason’s psychology trick. The one, where he agreed to meet Leslie’s mom. He’s decided to come meet her on Friday, and then he’ll take Leslie to a Pigjam concert. Bored out of her mind in English class, and not having to do any work, Leslie daydreams about what her mother would be like if she found out about their “study” dates. But right now that’s the least of her worries, because her date with Jason is coming up quickly.
