Dinosaurs
Did you that dinosaurs became extinct a long time ago? Fossils of dinosaurs tell how long it lived and how it got killed. If you follow a dinosaur's footprints, it may lead you to the fossils of the dinosaurs. Dinosaurs build their nest near other dinosaurs. They build their nest by other dinosaurs for protection. Did you know that scientists can
figure out the footprint of the dinosaurs and how quickly they traveled?
Long-necked dinosaurs had a huge thumb or a pointy finger to get leaves at the top of trees. It could probably reach the highest tree. Brachiosaurus seems to be bigger than a giraffe. Brachiosaurus can lift its tiny little head off of the ground like about 20 ft. Plus its front legs were longer than its hind legs. Long-necked dinosaurs migrated in herds of other long-neck dinosaurs. Did you know that a diplodocus could whip a predator with its tail because they can't run that fast?
The Styracosaurus was 16 feet long and it could defend its young ones from predators by stamping the predators belly. Plus it could rip the predator's belly open. Kentrosaurus had seven pairs of spikes. It also has seven pairs of plates, too. A stegosaurus may use his spiny back to defend itself from enemies.
