This Summer I'm going on a plane for the first time in my life. Can you guess where I'm going? I'm going to Walt Disney World in Florida and staying at the Dolphin Hotel! I'm going to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot. Hollywood Studios and Universal Studios. I can"t wait to get to the airport and get on the plane. My dad and I want to see all different kinds of animals like lizzards. Every night that were there we are going to go to a resturaunt. One of the resturaunts that my family and I are going to is a character dinner. That means that all the characters are going to be walking around, like Mickey and Chip and Dale. Each day that were at Disney we are going to go to a different theme park. I think my favorite Park will be Animal Kingdom. At my hotel they have many pools and one has a waterslide! I'm also really excited to go on my first plane! I feel bittersweet about going on a plane also because I'm nervous. If you have any suggestions about getting over nerves please leave them here as comments.

The basic bill was about how there should be separated gender teams. I thought this bill was preposterous because I think there should be a choice for boys and girls to play on integrated teams. No, this was not different from my constituency. Yes, the opposing side did help me change my argument. It helped because in the beginning I thought there should only be integrated teams but now I realized that there should be a choice to be on an integrated team or a segregated, their choice. I found that in this Unit there was a lot of writing and that was challenging to write everything down. This was challenging because first we had to come up with the answer and then we had to write it all down. Overall I would describe this unit as a lot of work. I feel negatively about this unit. If I could change something I would change the amount of space to write the answers. I think that they should have blank pages at the end of the book so you have more space to write. I would keep the cases the same.

The five items I chose on the list are eye color, hair color, hair type, skin color and last but not least face shape. The differences between my family are that my mom, brother and I have brown eyes while my dad has hazel eyes. Everyone except my dad has brown hair and my dad has black hair. Again my dad is the only one with fair skin. My mom, brother and I have olive skin color. My brother is the only one in the family that has wavy hair. The rest of my family has curly hair. The similarities I found are that my dad and I both have round heads and my mom and brother both have long heads. All of these differences and similarities are related to genetics.
I was surprised at the results because I didn’t know that my dad was so different from the rest of my family

In this simulation I felt very much like a pioneer. It helped me learn a lot about pioneers that I couldn’t have learned in textbooks. I learned that pioneers went through a lot of challenges to get to their destination. Some of the challenges were having a broken wheel, losing some people, losing animals and a lot more.
If we did this simulation again, I probably wouldn’t have taken any different supplies then I did. I wouldn’t because I didn’t have any problems with my supplies along the way. I thought taking all the long trails were good choices. I don’t think that my group made any poor choices because we made it to our destination in one piece.
I think you should do this simulation next year because it helped me learn about pioneers and it will probably help next year’s kids learn about pioneers also. I would recommend that they take all the long trails and no shortcuts.

1. The first animal that I learned about is the Pink River Dolphin also known as the Bouto. I learned that fishermen use dolphin meat as bait to catch catfish. The second animal is the Pirarucu. The average size for a Pirarucu is six feet long and 200 pounds. The biggest it can get is 10 feet and 400 pounds. The third animal is the Margay. This animal in the cat family is often sold illegally. The fourth animal is the Akarlonia fish. The biggest this animal can get is twenty centimeters. This fish is commonly found in pet stores in Japan. The last animal is the Anaconda. It is one of the largest snakes in the world.
2. The Amazon rainforest is important to the rest of the world because it plays an important role in the climate of the world. It helps balance the humidity and rain in different parts of the earth.
3. The Western world is responsible for the destruction of the Amazon because they are using up all of its resources. Humans are taking away things such as its trees for lumber, fish and other animals in order to sell them. Also, they are cutting trees to make farms for cattle.
4.I thought the show was very interesting. It was fun to see all the different animals and plants that are in the Amazon. I would recommend this show to people who like animals like I do and to people who care about our earth and want to help make a difference. I think it will help the situation because in the show they show you all these poor people and all these dead animals. This might encourage people to help save the Amazon and our earth.

The topic that I chose is Cells. I chose cells because I’m interested in what makes up my body and also because I think it’s amazing how many cells are really in your body. I learned that there are more than 75 million cells that are in you and I also learned that there are so many parts of a cell that each have a different purpose.
I would start off by telling my student the amazing number of cells that are in your body. Then I would make a chart of a cell and then the student would come up to the chart and label all the parts. We would go over all the parts and learn what each one does. For instance the cell membrane is the part that holds the cell together and lets the substances pass in and out.

DARFUR NEEDS YOUR HELP! Darfur is located in Southern Sudan and it’s the same size as France. 6,000,000 people live in this area. 10,000 die each month from starvation, lose of homes an diseases.Over 355,00 are dying from starvation. Farmers can't get their food because as soon as they go out of the house they get killed. China is helping Darfur and high schools and middle schools are helping also. The schools are helping by raising money for the people in Darfur, this years goal is to raise 375,000 dollars by April 30th. The people who are not helping is the Government because the Government is the military who is fighting the farmers. At least they made a camp in Chad for farmers. Remember Darfur needs your help.

On Thanksgiving 2007 I went to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I really enjoyed this parade. The things I enjoyed were seeing celebrities like Dolly Parton, Jordin Sparks, Ashley Tisdale, Terri and Bindi Irwin and the Jonas Brothers. I enjoyed seeing celebrities because it’s probably a one in a lifetime chance. My favorite celebrities were the Jonas Brothers. I’ve been going to this parade for five years. Some of the other celebrities that I saw in the past years were Hilary Duff, The Cheetah Girls, Steve Irwin and Jeff Corwin. Every year I look forward to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Our water was running low so we were going to be dang thirsty. I can't believe how the dang water used to be free but now it's $10 a barrel. Our group decided that one person will buy the water and everyone else will give that person something in return. One choice we crossed off was attacking the armed guards because it was too dangerous. The other choice we crossed off was that each person buy water for himself. This wouldn’t be good because everyone in our wagon train needs water to move on. I think we made the best decision because it'll be fair and we'll make it through the journey.
