Well January is over and I am really starting to look forward to spring especially since the Groundhog did not see his shadow!! Well we have a busy few weeks in February. We celebrated the 100th day of school on February 5th and we will continue with swimming lessons on Tuesdays. The dates this month are February 12th, and 26th. Students need to remember their swimsuits and towels.
We will also be celebrating Valentine's Day by having a little Valentine's Day Party on February 14th. Students will be allowed to exchange Valentines with their friends. We have 26 students in our class and I ask that if you are sending Valentines please make sure there are enough for the whole class so no one feels left out.
And Finally, Next week we will be having our Feburary Break which means NO SCHOOL for students!! I hope everyone has a great week off and students will return to school on Monday February 25th. Take care!!

Welcome!

Article posted August 28, 2012 at 05:32 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 527

I just want to take this opportunity to welcome my students to a fabulous new school year! Hope everyone had an amazing summer! The weather was perfect! I am so looking forward to this new year. Here are some motivational words that I hope will inspire my students as the school year begins.
The biggest mistake you can make is to be afraid of making one.
Believe in yourself.
Refuse to be discouraged.
Don't be afraid to be yourself.
Dare to aim high.
Attitude is the mind's paintbrush. It can color any situation.
Never believe you don't have what it takes.
Attitudes are contagious. Is yours worth catching?
Never give up.
Of all the things you wear, your smile is the most important.
Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So...get on your way. -Dr.Seuss
