Please take some time to pause and write about your progress with this project. Talk about any "Aha!" moments you have had. What's been working great? What's been challenging?

We have launched our Picturing America: A Moment in History Project! We will use this blog as a place for you to write reflections on the project as we progress our way through it. Your first assignment will have three parts:
- Set up your own blog, including uploading an avatar. You can use the site, Reasonably Clever, to make your avatar. You can see one that I made in the sidebar.
- Post your first article. Please title your article, "My First Impressions of (name of artwork)". In your article, summarize what you observed and wondered about when you studied the artwork last week. Include any questions that came to mind as you analyzed the artwork. End your article with a few sentences about how you feel about the project.
- Before the next class (do this from home), read what your partners wrote and respond to what they wrote by writing a comment.
