Here is an idea that I found from another teacher's blog. Type in what you would like to spell. Copy the code and paste it into your blog. Try it and see if it works.

Article posted January 4, 2010 at 12:22 AM GMT • comment • Reads 202

I hope that everyone has enjoyed their vacation. I am looking forward to coming back to school and starting some new and exciting things in our classroom. We will be starting a new writing unit on fictional writing. I am looking forward to seeing the kids put their imagination to work. Also, we are wrapping up our Explorers unit in Social Studies. In reading, we are beginning a new theme in our series, as well as a new math unit.

I can't wait to see you all in 2010!

BLOG WORK: Watch one of your favorite cartoons, (Tom & Jerry, Sponge Bob, Star Wars, Looney Toons, etc. ) and create a list of the causes and effects that you find while watching. Bring your list in or blog about it and you can earn a minimum of 5 tickets.

Article posted October 26, 2009 at 02:16 AM GMT • comment (2) • Reads 357

This week we have many fun and exciting things happening in our classroom.  On Monday and Tuesday, Mrs. Quirk will be visiting our classroom and helping the students learn about blogging! Also this week, Mr. Randall and Miss White will be joining our classroom on Tuesday and Thursday.  They are practicum students from Oswego State University.  They have a great activity planned for our classroom on Thursday.

This week the students will have a 1/2 day on Thursday and Friday due to parent-teacher conferences.  On Friday (10/30) we will be having our Halloween Party and Parade.  Hope to see you there!
