Poetic Effects
Robert Frost once said that a poem "begins in delight and ends in wisdom." Some poems are entertaining, while others have the power to change how you see the world. Just like colors of paint or notes of music, language can be arranged to create a desired effect. What are some of the "tools" that poets use to create effect in their writing?
