SMARTBoard Training
Topics covered include setting up and orienting the Board, using the tools and the gallery, using the Board with the Internet and other software applications, creating lessons and recording sessions with the SMART Notebook. Many ideas will be shared for using the Board with your students. The course will meet five weeks in a row at Trumbull County Educational Service Center in Niles. The course is available for contact hours or 1 semester hour of graduate credit from Ashland. Email: sue.datish@neomin.org or pam.lubich@neomin.org

1. Read article “Board Certified” T.H.E. Journal June 2007.
2. Find five Internet sites that you can use with students. Actually DO these WITH your students.
3. Do handson practices again.
4. Blog about your experiences in your personal blog. Be sure to tell about at least one interactive site you found and reflect on the article.
