Mr. Dugger's class is studying the same thing we are! Go to his blog and read the assignment "Dear King George III". Make sure to look at the Declaration to make sure that you include all three sections...just like the real thing.
This is your chance to show what you know...and really prove that you've been paying attention to all those Liberty's Kids videos! :)

I want to tell you that first I'm telling you that I want to seperate from England Ecsepte I dont really want to my teacher Prof Mcgee made me do this artical. So please don't hang me blame my teacher.
So lets start complaining your tea takes are to high blah blah blah blah you don't give us any voiceblah blah blah blah we want A right in laws blah blah blah blah we want librety and freedom blah blah blah blah your tea taxes are too high oops I already sayed that BUT THEY ARE! blah blah blah well I ran out of things to com plain about soo....
A good govement would not have all the things I just said it would have..... A president blah blah blah and the president would Not Be as bossy as you and would give us freedom and they would give us librety Blah blah blah and a good goverment would have taxation WITH represantation and blah blah blah well oh and I amlost forgot A good govement would have NO SLAVES! and so patrick henry says GIVE ME LIBRETY IOR GIVE ME DEATH!! and you know what now I agree with my teacher and that you should seperate from England and on last thing! IN CONGRESS MAY 22, 2009
THE UNANIMOUS DECLARATION OF THE FIFTY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Our fifty United States of America all agree that your orders are un-fair and disrespectful to your colonist. We also think we are ready to be a independent country, and not part of you. We have declared a revolution on your country, (Britain) and your people, (British) we do not want any war, we ask you to please let us break apart from you without any war, we understand that won’t happen, and we are willing to declare war with you.
A good government does not treat their colonist’s poorly, for example, taxing us without talking to us about it too, is not right. A king is supposed to keep their country and colonist’s happy, and proud for that king, to be their king. You, King George the 111, did not make us think that way. Also, you do not start war with your colonist’s. We, the United States of America, will have a good government, one where we treat everyone fairly and correctly.
Our complaints are the Boston tea party, you taxing us, without our representation, was not right. Then when you blocked Boston Harbor so no valuables or letters could get through, what if someone had been waiting for a letter from the son or daughter in Britain? If I lived in Britain I would want a new king!

IN CONGRESS. May 22, 2009.
The unanimous Declaration of the fifty united States of America,
Our fifty states of America have decided that we would like to become independent nation. We would like to because you are making unfair and selfish laws. We believe we should be able to run our government. You haven’t even been here and you think you know what is best for us but you don’t.
A good government has laws that most of the population of the country agrees with. They also have understanding reasons to raise taxes. They also treat their fellow citizens nice and don’t send people to tell us what to do. They have fair and unselfish laws. A good government also doesn’t send soldiers to kill innocent people under your law. That is what we believe a good government is.
We believe you are being very unfair by having us house your British soldiers and even sending them over. You are also being selfish by rising taxes for no reason. We dumped your English tea into the oceans because your taxes are so unfair and we did not want to sell or buy your British tea or sugar. We will sell our tea and sugar that is made in our new world. We also hate having our government run by someone that has never even been here. You have made us hate you even more since have sent over your British soldiers. We would like to be free and happy country.

The Declaration
Dear King George the 3rd, we, the Continental Congress, find your taxes and laws unfair. We would like to break free from England; to become a new country. We declare independence!
We believe that all men are created equally, and should be treated fairly. We have the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We will from a new government! We will fight for it, too! A new government with prove better for the People of America! A new government will NOT place ridiculous taxes on tea, sugar and stamps! A new government will have a fair way of electing a leader. The time has come for us to abandon England, ‘tis time to start a new country!
The Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party were not rebellious acts; they were men, men standing for freedom! You may have sent us to the New World in the beginning, but we are finished with your taxes and mistreatment to the People of America! You must listen king, for we are Finished with you toying with us, it is time to take command!

At the colony of Philadelphia, a group of men made a whole country turn against their leader. (Sorry but that’s you) People saw and heard British troops moving into Boston Harbor from Great Brittan. Then “you” King George 3rd started taxing tea on everyone in the colonies. The taxation without representation was really not fair!
But we colonists were smart to break off from Brittan, to be a free country of liberty! Too bad you didn’t succeed to control us, because we fought back! With George Washington, leader of the American army on our side at Yorktown. You’re General Cornwallis surrendered to George Washington we had finally broke off from England

We the people of the United States Of America wish to be free from Great Britain as in more described be free from you. We are writing this important document because we wish to be a free country as in each man is created equal. With this declaration we wish to declare self-government for each and every human of the country of The United States Of America.
All the people of The United States Of America wish to be free of your rule to make each and every American equal and their own government. Each man will be created equal no matter if there black ,white ,Hispanic , ect. No one will be left out and will be free to believe and think about any one in their own personal beliefs.
Your laws are unfair, I mean what are you mental. Why the heck would you want to tax tea. Pulse you are killing people for throwing snowballs at solders. That’s like my friend Torres9 killing me for hitting him with a 6 inch sphere of frozen water. It’s just crazy!!! And to block the harbor. If Someone did that now I would be so mad!! I'mean how could I go tubing with giant boats blocking the harbor!! Jeez!!! With no king we will elect a president that will do what the people want. So with this document we pledge each and every man’s right of fairness.

We wish to declare our independence now!!!We need freedom in our lives!!!If you even care... And forcing the loyalists into our homes is completely wrong!!! Be fair for once!!! And I can't forget about closing the harbour for bringing in things after the Boston Tea Party! It's all wrong!!! And we can't even say bad things about you!! Well, I'm about to, King George 3rd is the worst king ever!!
We the people need a better government, we need our own choices!!What was about the Boston Massacre?? You killed a couple of people, and what if you killed me??? Then you wouldn't be getting this!!! You have blocked the Boston Harbor! You have taxed are tea, sugar, stamps, and not let us have a say in any of it! We should be able to have a say in what you tax for us at least!
A good government would have voting so that the people would be happy with the laws. It would also have a congress that the people have a say in! There for the people of the colonies have the right to have a say in their government!
We disagree with your taxation on our tea. We might have used to want a king but now we are sick of you!!! People all over the colonies agree! We would rather have a President and he would do what the people want!
We the people of the thirteen colonies there for declare our independents from the British!
