E-books catching on with readers

Technology is spilling over into many traditional mediums. One such technology is the electronic book or eBook. The eBook has been around for some time with free, public-domain content available. But with Amazon.com's Kindle, the interest in eBooks has taken off. Now, additional eBooks are being updated (Sony Reader) and others are jumping into the market. For your assignment, your are to follow this link and read the article at CNN. Additionally, explore the features of the Kindle, Sony Reader, as well as the Gutenburg Project to better understand eBooks. Once done, briefly summarize the article post your thoughts about the application. Would you use one? Why or why not? Would having a eBook make you read more often? Would you pay for books or would you search for free content? Be specific and give examples to support your comments. Post your comments to your blog (checking spelling, grammar, and punctuation). Assignment due prior to your next class (see Google assignment calender).
